Mobile Welding
MIG & Stick — Grand Rapids & West Michigan

Welding at your location saves a tow, saves a load, and gets you back to work. We bring the machine, the wire, and the rod — and we weld it right the first time. Structural, cosmetic, and everything in between.

When something steel breaks, moving it usually costs more than fixing it. Top Choice brings mobile welding to driveways, farms, marinas, and job sites all over West Michigan. We run MIG for clean mild steel and stick (SMAW) for thick, dirty, or outdoor structural work — the two processes that cover 95% of real-world repair.

Cracked trailer tongue before a haul, broken bucket ear on a skid steer mid-job, rusted-through frame section on a dump trailer, snapped hitch mount, torn crossmember on a car hauler — we weld it where it sits. Alex Klawiter brings 25+ years of hands-on experience and treats every weld like it is going to be inspected, because most of them get load-tested the next day.

We also handle small on-site fabrication: custom brackets, gussets, tie-down points, plate reinforcements, and repair inserts. If it is steel and it needs to be joined right the first time, we can be there — usually within 24–48 hours across Grand Rapids, Ottawa County, and Kent County.
